Pusterla 1880 UK

In 1880 Alessandro Pusterla founds the company ‘A. Pusterla’ in Milan & Tradate (Italy)

  • Packaging for Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical industry

  • 1886 Alessandro dies and leaves the business to his wife

  • During the first world war – company dissolves and furniture is given to the orphanage.

  • Workers form a group to continue production

1922 Giuseppe Meana (40 years) becomes president of the company

  • Giuseppe was an entrepreneur born the son of a miller/blacksmith, who had a successful company producing and distributing electricity and water.

  • His son, Piero Meana becomes a shareholder in 1927

  • In 1937 the Meana family buy up all shares of the Pusterla company.

  • 1960 – Pusterla enters into the cosmetic and perfumery sector

  • 1969 – Company names Cartografica Pusterla

  • 1973 – Piero Meana dies and company passes to the young generation of the Meana familly; Giuseppe Meana & Agostino Molina.

  • 1979 – New factory built 13,500 sqm in Venegono Inferiore (1992 the production area is doubled)

  • 2010 – Acquisition of Tepor Thermoformages in France

  • 2015 – Acquisition of Cristina, Italy

  • 2017 – Merger Acquisition with Cosfibel starts …..
